I almost banned these two goobers from the library today. #Zeek was rude during story time and then both him and Charlotte thought it would be fun to climb the shelves. 🙄😡 Why is parenting so hard sometimes?

Shout out to all you awesome librarians out there. Thanks for all that you do. The Black Lagoon books are fun and always a hit with the kids.

I always go through the shelf of .50 cent children‘s paperbacks when I stop into the library.

This was one of those rare finds that you pick up not really knowing what to expect and when you actually read it realize it‘s a volume you‘d read and loved as a child but completely forgotten about.

Today one of my sweet third graders came in the library and gave me this. He created it in computer class for me. I am blessed to be his Librarian and his enrichment teacher. He is a special kid and this absolutely made this tired and under the weather pregnant Librarian feel like a million bucks. Somehow he managed to capture perfectly my goal as an educator. I am so blessed to have a job that makes a difference and inspires imagination.

Yesterday was national school Librarian's day. In twelve years of doing this job, no one has ever remembered this day - until yesterday. One of my students knows about my love of peanut butter and got me my own spoon. It made my day!

I'm still cleaning up from the holiday programs at work, and today I stumbled across a set of donated books from the black lagoon! Does anyone else remember these gems? I can't wait to share them with the kids in our children's program
