Snow Day in The ATL (the one on the right)!! You Littens know what that means: 📚📚📚

Also pictured, Paddock Lake, in WI, is where my husband grew up and entire family lives. They are highly amused by the mass hysteria here in Atlanta based on a predicted two hours of snow. City government has shut down, 20-30 counties cancelled school, etc. All for two hours of snow occurring when it‘s not even below freezing! 🙄😂 Ah...life in the South.

IamIamIam My friend moved from RI to VA and when they had their first storm, she was told she wasn't going anywhere for at least 2 days. She lost it and said, "This is nothing! You don't worry until the plows don't come through after 6 inches!" ? 5y

Bookladylinda 😂 I live in Atlanta and so far there are only 6 people here out of 24! Traffic was fabulous though! 5y

rmaclean4 Knoxville TN is the same way!! Run on milk and bread at the grocery store days before predicted snow of 2 inches!! 5y

Mollyanna I grew up in MN then moved to Atlanta in middle school. I remember being off school for a quarter inch of snow! I called to tell my cousins who were dealing with single digit temps and inches of snow. They were not happy. You are right though, Atlanta doesn‘t have the necessary equipment. 5y

Mollyanna That is true! Good luck today! I‘m glad to be back up in the Midwest, where although we got 10-12 inches yesterday, it was well taken care of by the road crews. 5y

OrangeMooseReads My mom likes to laugh about the time in the early 80s when they (I wasn‘t born yet) lived in central Texas and they got snow for one of the first times in years. She had to explain how to drive in the snow to the older ladies she worked with. 5y

Reviewsbylola Lol I remember driving through Atlanta once during a “snow storm”. There was barely any snow on the ground and schools were cancelled. 5y

Reviewsbylola But I agree ☝🏻 it makes a huge difference if you don‘t have the measures to treat it. We always have our roads pre treated and plowed quickly so it‘s not a huge deal. 5y
