Will Hershel be able to save Hanukkah by vanquishing the goblins? Originally published in Cricket Magazine, this is a fun tale of a traveler using his wiles to trick the goblins. The illustrations are wonderful, with a good mix of cute and creepy in the depictions of the goblins. Hanukkah traditions, such as latkes, dreidels, and lighting the menorah, are introduced. #wintergames #TeamFozziwig #holidayread #BBRC #AtoZ

LibrarianRyan @mabell you can, or you can make a copy of this spreadsheet and use it. Just send me access when we have games and I can add it to the database.

mabell @LibrarianRyan Thanks so much! I just got the app, so I can put the books straight in there. But would it be easier for you if I also do the form again? 2mo

This says a lot about my threshold for scares, since I'm picking a picture book that I first read as a child. :p. Still freaks me out, too, Hershel trapped with all of those angry goblins, and having to figure out how to outwit them on the spot! I'd probably still freeze under that sort of pressure. :p. The character is based off of an older depiction out of Yiddish folklore. Reading gets geekier as you peel back deeper layers! #FunFridayPhoto
