Princess Daisy
Princess Daisy | Judith Krantz
5 posts | 9 read | 2 to read
She was born Princess Marguerite Alexandrovna Valensky. But everyone called her Daisy. She was a blonde beauty living in a world of aristocrats and countless wealthy. Her father was a prince, a Russian nobleman. Her mother was an American movie goddess. Men desired her. Women envied her. Daisy's life was a fairy tale filled with parties and balls, priceless jewels, money and love. Then, suddenly, the fairy tale ended. And Princess Daisy had to start again, with nothing--except the secret she guarded from the day she was born. From the Paperback edition.

I remember watching this movie on tv when I was a little girl. I barely remember it and after the reading the book I still don't remember. I did like the book though. I wish there was more, although I did like how it ended. I would definitely recommend this book.

This magazine ad for Tabu fascinated me as a kid. There was a story in that picture and I spent a lot of time imagining what it might be. A few short years later, I used my babysitting money to buy my first romance, Princess Daisy. Romance lovers--born or made? #romantsy #osrbc #romance #myfirstromancenovel

EloisaJames Good question! I feel as if I was born, because I was fascinated with any kid book with anything resembling a romance. Though perhaps that was programmed by my parents reading through all the colored fairy books. 7y

sparrow @EloisaJames I was the same way with fairy tales, which also explains why I enjoy your retellings so much! 7y
