pickMy foray into Jackie Collins' work continues with the first of the Lucky Santangelo series. Though most of this one sets up the backstory of her father Gino and their nefarious business empire. Very good, though I was caught off guard by how long it was. I think it definitely could have been edited down without sacrificing the plot. I'm looking forward to more of Lucky as an adult now that the set up is out of the way! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

It's Library Day!!!! We usually go to the public library at least once a week. Since he passed his math class during the mini-semester, he wanted to go to the Headquarters branch downtown. We braved the wind and rain for manga (him) and Jackie Collins (for me!) Happy Reading!

I got my 19 year old daughter hooked on this series. I have been molding her into a reader since she was born and am not above putting an addictive, some may even say shallow, read into her hands just to keep her reading. However I do believe my work here may be done as she is voraciously gobbling these up! She calls them her "olden time" books! #evilgeniusbwahaha
I remember being at the library every other day, checking out a new Jackie Collins novel. My obsession started when I was about 17/18 and I still love the stories. I was so sad when she passed away. At least I'll always have a signed photo! #FunFridayPhoto
pickI love the entire Santangelo family! I also love how strong willed Lucky is. I named my feisty cat after her.
