Daisey I knew going in that this was not going to be happy, but it was also quite different from what I expected. I also liked it better than expected. After his treatment of Tess, I was kind of hoping Angel was just going to waste away from his illness, rather than get another chance. 7mo

Even though the whole thing with Kitty is way more on her building fantasies, he DID flirt with her, ask her for the first two dances more than once, etc. But it may partially be because this author hasn't done much character development overall haha @rubyslippersreads - RIGHT!? I actually think Miss Bingley would be the perfect match for Bertram 😂 11mo
