A quilt with a history. A quilt containing royal cloth. A quilt spanning a number of years. A quilt that told a story.

Unsavory characters with secrets and one big that is causing all that‘s going on.
Main character Georgia speaks in second person which is a bit confusing at first, but you become accustomed to it and focus more on if she really killed her sister Annabelle and what she is up to as well as what the other characters are up to.
It‘s a good one that will keep you glued to the pages. 4/5

A very hopeful, sweet, pleasurable read. You won‘t want the book to end.
This book takes you to a place that feels like a hug and has characters that are genuine and gentle except for one.

It‘s the 1930s, and the Eugenics movement is in full force as Lena comes from Germany and then works for Silas Wolfe in the mountains of West Virginia.
It was a good life until the social services arrived and declared her as an unfit mother as well as Silas to be an unfit father.
A heartbreaking and upsetting read but an excellent, well-researched history lesson. 5/5

Morris and Joseph were murdered in real life and Ms. Fredericks uses both men as the basis for her book with this gorgeous cover.

I thought this was a beautiful photo. Nice and crisp.
Julia always studies her horoscope - she knew something bad was going to happen and she also knew something good was going to happen.
The bad thing was her husband was murdered, and the good thing was she inherited a large sum of money and a villa in Tuscany.
A marvelous setting, but it got a bit too paranormal for me.
A satisfying ending to another great Lisa Scottoline read.4/5

I had never heard of the Harvey Girls, did you?
What a wonderful piece of history about the first chain restaurants that were at train stations along the Santa Fe Railway Line that treated the girls well with housing, food, and decent wages.
