this is the next book im going to read and im rlly looking forward to it. the story is very interesting and i like the authors style.
GIRLLLLL THIS BOOK WAS SO GUDDDDDDDDD AHHHH . SO this therapist is very intrigued with this girls case where she murdered her husband and never spoke again and now its his mission to try to get her to speak again and theres a plot twist that literallyyyyyyy blew me away. I LOVE PSYCHOLOGICAL THRILLERS SO SO SO SO MUCH
im very excited to see how the girls grow in this story. im going to bawl wen miss lizzy dies. im just guessing!! but i like her way too much for the author to keep her living by the end of the book. miss lizzy is just so sweet. i hope shes pure sweetness and doesnt snap ever. quincy is going to shape up real nice with miss lizzy‘s help and i think its too freaking cute. i just imagine two blobs of clay being molded into something really purty.
not even half way through and i‘m in love. i love the dynamic of the two, one snappy and one bubbly. i like the switch of point of views on the same situation n readin each perspective. im at a part where it‘s starting to tap into their past, n its so hard to not cry after every page. i really feel for the girls. i love that miss lizzy is there for them and has such a soft influence when they‘ve been treated harshly by many more. im pretty excited
whenever maverick is involved, i can only see and hear ice cube. the actor playing him is not far off tho
ahh i havent finished yet but omg reading this after reading concrete rose is making me so emotional. maverick is so grown up now. n the tats he has of his kids saying “something to live for something to die for” underneath is having me like 🥹🥹🥹 and his mom passin🥹🥹🥹 mr wyatt giving him the store🥹🥹🥹 im honestly more interested in mavericks role in the story than the actual plot at this point.
this is such a good prequel to “the hate that you give”. i like how this story follows the males perspective and gives insight on his circumstances. its a very real and emotional read, i cried multiple times. this is a high favorite at the moment. #bookworm #bookathon #ilovebooks
