This hooked me right from the start, which i honestly didnt think it would. I was pleasantly surprised to love the characters, and as i watched the story unfold i couldnt believe it was over so soon. Eagerly awaiting the sequel for this, the author is definitely one to keep an eye on!

This book got me hooked on mer creatures again, and it even made me love pirates again! Unique story with a very intiguing world, fans of the Ingo series will love this!

I loved this, the character dynamics were great and the diversity was very refreshing, can't wait for the sequel!

As much as i love reading about the domestic lives of the characters ive grown to love so much, i just felt like this book was a bit pointless. It didnt drive the story anywhere, its contents could have easily been in a larger book. All the same, it was a sweet addition to the others.

While it wasnt quite the epic climax to the story asi thought it would be, that doesnt mean it wasn't one hell of a ride. I loved this book like the others, the writing stayed consistantly wonderful and the story was just as emotional.

Hands down my favourite book of this series, the characters involved were developed amazingly and the story twisted into something i didnt expect- at one point i ended up shouting at the page! Fantastic, will read again and again.

Exceeded the expectations from the first book, the characters are consistant and the plot twists wonderfully, i couldnt put it down!

Much more emotional than TSoA, didn't grip me as much but i think its because it dealt with some heavier themes. Still an amazing read and beautifully written.
