Things We Have in Common | Tasha Kavanagh

Pickpick

My reaction to this book was: WTF did I just read?! It's worth the time. The writing style was something I had to get past initially. But that is because it was written from the point of view of a teenager, so the style reflects the voice of the main character. None of the characters are particularly likeable... But that doesn't make it a bad read.

Couldn't put this one down! Just the right mix of confusion, raw edges, and suspense. Still haunts me occasionally.

My Name Is Asher Lev | Chaim Potok

One of my favorite books from way back. You can't help but feel the passion for art and the pain it causes in Asher's life. I recommend this book to anyone who will listen!
