The Possible | Tara Altebrando

I enjoyed The Possible. It was a fast, easy, read. The plot and characters were interesting, and I loved how you could never be quite sure whether or not the power/telekinesis aspect of the book was real or an elaborate hoax. This one was a 3.5/5 stars for me.

I really enjoyed Warbringer! Alia was my favourite character, and I liked Diana as well but I wish there had been a bit more focus on getting to know Diana's fellow amazons. I loved the focus on female friendship, and relationships between the characters. The action was great, and I loved the banter. Overall to give this one 4/5 stars. Thank you @PenguinRandomCa for sending me a review copy. #leighbardugo #warbringer #wonderwoman

Uprooted | Naomi Novik

I'm re-reading Uprooted for the seventh time since I first read it last November. I love this book so much, it's one of my all time favourites. It's also one of the books that I find myself reaching for when I'm stressed or when I'm upset about something. A comfort book, if that makes sense. What are your go to books when you're stressed or upset?

I wasn't expecting to enjoy this book, at all. If it hadn't been given to me I probably never would have picked it up. But I freaking loved it! It was fast paced and kept me hooked from start to finish. There were a couple things that bothered me, but not enough for me to dislike the book. It was a great concept, and I loved the characters. Although I had a couple issues with it that I still enjoyed it and would definitely recommend it.

I read this one in a single sitting. I loved the characters, the plot, and the world itself. It was fast paced, plot driven, but still had some romance on the side. At first I was disappointed that there was no magic in this book since it is set in a fantasy world, but I ended up loving the fact that there was no magic. Very well done! You should definitely pick this one up. #YA #bookreview #yanovels #yabooks #fantasy

Madly | Amy Alward

I read Madly for the first time last year and loved it. Seriously, it's a 4.5/5 stars for me. I haven't seen anyone else post about it, but it's a great book to read if you're looking for a modern setting in a fantasy world, friendship, romance, humour, and adventure. It's a light easy read, perfect for summer. It has a few cliches, but that didn't detract from my enjoyment of this book at all.

HollieOhs_BookReviews @Whimsicreads Its a great book! 📚💕 7y
HollieOhs_BookReviews @Linear Isn't it great?! I got it in a fairyloot box 😍 7y
Linear @HollieOhs_BookReviews i cant remember why i dint get fairyloot. Maybe because the shipping was to much to ship to where i am, or im to broke with everything else ( which as i think of it. Those two reasons are basiclly the same reason -money) but i like a lot of stuff that comes from that box. 7y

The Wish Granter | C. J. Redwine

I absolutely loved The Wish Granter. The main character Ari was so refreshing, and I really loved the fact that she wasn't a sword wielding type of kick ass but rather had to rely on her wits. I loved The Shadow Queen by too, the first in the Ravenspire series. (They are stand alone books, different characters) If you enjoy retellings then you should definitely check out this series! . #yabooks #fairytaleretelling #thewishgranter #review

daisyreadthat I loved Shadow Queen, haven't read this one yet. Did you see the cover for the next book has been released? It's really nice too 7y

Into the Dim | Janet B. Taylor

Pickpick

Into The Dim by was one of my absolute favourite books of 2016. I'm a huge fan of time travel books, and Into The Dim is about a girl that discovers that she is part of a secret society of time travellers and ends up travelling back to the 12th Century to find and rescue her mother. It had all of the time travel elements that I love, and more. So when I was sent an ARC of Sparks of Light I was pretty freaking excited (the book in the picture).

HollieOhs_BookReviews @maich Thank you!😊 7y
HollieOhs_BookReviews @Jabberwowie They definitely sound hard to write, there are so many things that need to be carefully thought out/planned. Let me know what you think of it! 7y
HollieOhs_BookReviews @Booksandlemonsquash I just googled publishers and they usually have a "media" email address somewhere on their websites, then you just email them and request the book you want. Be sure to include any stats you have for your blog or Instagram, that's how they decide if they'll send to you :) And sorry it took me so long to reply, I'm still figuring Litsy out lol 7y
