Ok, it's not at all but more than the kilt Logan is loyal and kind and an amazing leader and man. Madeline was intelligent, independent, caring, and just the right amount of hopeless romantic for me to think her a kindred spirit. The plot pacing was on freaking point and 100% organic and natural.

4.5 Stars! TJR always gives a love story that is thought-provoking, beautiful, and makes you look at your own past romances introspectively. This is one of my favs of hers, ok fine they're almost all favs. If you haven't read this author you need to!

This was SUCH a great book! The banter was incredible. Alesandra was such a strong and intelligent character. Colin was HILARIOUS! And I loved the appearance of characters from previous books. Amazing end to a fantastic series.

3.5 Stars! I loved Nathan and the pacing and plot of the story. The heroine started off great but really got on my nerves with her naïveté and cluelessness. Yes, I get the time period but still. Great story overall but not my fav of the series.

3.5 Stars!! LOVE the dynamic between Cian and Jessica. Again, the heroine was fantastic. The book was a bit long feeling but still can't get enough of this world, the setting, and those sexy MacKeltars and their kilts.

4 stars. Damn. If KMM does one thing in these books right to me, it's her heroines. They are all SO fantastically independent yet seeking that intangible romantic partner. Loved being back in the world and the Highlands.

3.5 Stars! Chad and Owen are hot, hot, hot! And JFC I will NEVER look at a bow tie the same way again! Chad and Owen were these amazing pieces to a puzzle they didn't know were missing&needing to be filled until they found each other. I adored them.

What a fantastic story! We all know I love the Tudors and also love alternative history. Finally, somebody takes Jane Grey's tragic story and...well, changes it. You'll have to read it to know exactly how but if you're a Tudor fan, check this out!

I'm so excited to start this book!! Jane is my number 4 historical lady and I can't wait to see her story told with (hopefully) a happier ending! Already LOVING King Edward ❤️

Another great story from Lisa Kleypas. Derek Craven is starved for love and Sara Fielding is yearning for it as well. Their dynamic together shouldn't work but it just fits perfectly. Sparks fly. Not my fav of hers but def worth reading.

Magic+Historical fiction+Ireland setting. It premises with the idea that while this story is steeped in fantasy & magic at one time it would all be taken as fact. I find that so ethereally beautiful that I was definitely a believer in Tompkins' tale.

This book was SUCH a fantastic surprise! I was in a bit of a DNF slump and I wanted something fun and swoony to get me out of a bad book binge. And it totally did! This book was fun, sassy, snarky, and all things swoony.

Overall loved the story and characters but how the intimacy came about with these two characters was...odd. It was good for the characters for it to happen but HOW they got there made it feel skeezy. Don't let it deter you, still a great story.
