It is very obvious the author did remarkably well in researching the subject of the book. The story goes along at a steady pace, explains things without getting too technical & keeps you wanting to continue along w/the main character as she journeys through the challenges ahead. While it may not seem it at moments, this book is truly a "feel good" story, with the lesson that we should appreciate what we have & to find blessings in each day.

Excellent, fantastic book. My dad passed in 2007 from complications from Alzheimer's and quite a bit of the book hit nerves for me. That being said, I'd really recommend this book for all caregivers, especially for those that care for dementia/Alzheimer's patients.

I read this in 10/2017 and my first thought when I finished was "Wow." My other impressions of the book were: amazing, spectacular, surprising, mind-bending, fast-paced. You're taken on a roller coaster of emotions, a psychological ride as you continue to go through "A-ha I get it now" and then another twist all the way to the end of the book.
