Brilliant and heart warming book. August completely stole my heart. In my opinion everyone should read this book. It really opened my eyes to how I judge even accidentally judge people. Love love love this book

🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟This is a brilliant book. I laughed. I cried. I laughed and cried at the same time. This is a wonderfully written book with characters you can‘t help but love. Ove has really touched my heart. The book hangover is awful but well worth it. I think everyone should read Ove.

Another full day of study in the library done and my last before my exam on Monday. I'm so excited to read something non work related and catch up on #lotrchapteraday. Roll on Monday evening when it's all over and I can be a proper book nerd again.

Night shifts have my body clock all confused and I can't sleep. So I've decided to pick up this beauty for the millionth time. It's my favourite thing about this series I can pick up any of them and start anywhere in the book and know what's going on. I still get totally absorbed in the world every time I read it🤓

Just binge watched the 3 hobbit movies and now I feel a reread coming on. I'm not sure when I last read it but so much of the story lines in the movies I didn't remember. I have always loved books and have read them multiple times. It was my first time watching the movies and they seemed to be the exact same format as LOTR movie format. Not sure how I felt about the movie

Pamela2 Thanks, I've joined up! Hopefully I will have time to do, I'm really busy with exams and work at the moment but I will do my best 7y
JazzFeathers I love The Lord of the Rings trilogy. I hate The Hobbit trilogy 7y
Pamela2 Yeah it seemed a bit unnecessarily long winded. 7y

Night shift essential: a book, chocolate and a cup of tea. My patient lent me this book but wouldn't tell me if he enjoyed it. He just said give it a read and then we will discuss it. So I hope that means it's good.

BooksTeasAndBookishThings Welcome to Litsy!!! 😊❤️🙌📚🎉 7y
Pamela2 Thank you @BooksTeasAndBookishThings I'm not sure yet I understand it but so far I like it 😁 7y
BooksTeasAndBookishThings If you have any questions I will be glad to help any way I can. Any other Litten will if I can't. I would suggest following active people, and you can find a lot by one of my last posts, follow Littens that liked it since you know they are active and I also tagged a lot of newcomers in a post yesterday. You can also go onto your favourite books' profiles (in the search section) and follow people that also like them since you know you have the same 7y

BooksTeasAndBookishThings taste in books. 7y
Pamela2 Thanks so much for the advise. I will have a look and start following 7y
BooksTeasAndBookishThings When you post, you can post a quote from a book, a review of a book, or some kind of a blurb about a book or multiple books. On anyone's posts you can stack the book tagged in it and add to your TBR or you can mark it as read and rate it at that point, too. When people comment, like, or stack your posts, your Litfluence goes up. You can look at your stacks on your own profile by clicking on the book to the far right. 😊 7y
BooksTeasAndBookishThings You can edit your pictures and Litsy has Bookish stickers, and it is the same as IG in that the square option is the best for them. And you can do a quick reply by clicking on a comment and the option to reply comes up so it will automatically tag them. You CAN edit your own comments and posts. If you go onto a profile, you can double click their picture and it will enlarge, and... I think that is about if for quick tips. But ask if I missed any😊 7y
Pamela2 @BooksTeasAndBookishThings thank you so much. You have been so kind and helpful 7y
