pickThis follow up to Girl on the Train has just as many unreliable unlikeable characters as Hawkins debut. Which is why I liked it more. Lots of twists kept me from guessing where the story was going next. Speedy pace, minimal exposition & description, some cliched plot elements, a surprising ending. *possiblespoileralert*
I think there's a big loophole at the end. It's easy to overlook in the wake of all the surprises. Let me know if you find it.

A hold-your-breath murder comedy. Great characters in a cinematic plot that keeps the reader guessing multiple times who-dun-it. Have fun guessing which IRL comic inspired which soon-to-be-dead fictional one. Then hope the movie rights have been snapped up. Comedy box office gold in a classic murder mystery.
