Rebecca | Daphne Du Maurier, Dame
Pickpick

One of my favorites! It seems like a romance, but these are real, flawed people. Danger, jealousy, and hatred abound. You think you know what is happening, and then it takes a left turn.

RadicalReader @Lonestarslp love when books have you thinking you have it all figured out than surprise you more than Joe Dirt discovering the meteorite 6y

Me Talk Pretty One Day | David Sedaris

My favorite Sedaris book. I am a speech language pathologist, and I thought his story about speech therapy was hilarious.

Anna Karenina | Tolstoy, Leo
Pickpick

A book that I have read at least five or six times. Anna‘s story is tragic, but Levin‘s story uplifting. What I love about Tolstoy is that he writes in such a straightforward manner, yet his themes are deep. #Tolstoy

Many Jane fans don‘t like this book, but I really do. I believe Fanny has an internal moral core of steel that allows her to stand up for herself against everyone else when she needs to. My favorite side characters are Lady Bertram and Pug. #Austen

This book has my favorite hero and heroine. I love that Jane Austen favors a woman who takes no quarter. Mr. Collins is my favorite buffoon. #Austen #prideandprejudice

Persuasion - Jane Austen | Jane Austen, Jesse Zuba
Pickpick

This is my favorite Jane Austen novel. The heroine and hero are both flawed but kind, honest people. There are side characters enough for everyone to have a favorite: vain, whiny, self-centered, optimistic, sweet people abound. #Austen

Blueberry I just read this one for the first time this year and really enjoyed it. 6y
