I'm loving this series. It is so intense and keeps you on the edge of your seat.

What an incredible story of growing up and trying to find a way to fit in. Completely eye opening to the culture mix in out Schools.and how kids are trying to.identify where they fit in.

At first I was like this book seemed a bit juvenile but now I am beginning to relate with the young character and her desire to connect with others especially in understand her own race. As an adult I can find myself struggling to connect with my own race. Not born on the USA but being here 34 of my 38 years I feel at limbo because I am neither able to connect with people from or there at times. Ugh

My current bread by this author and all I can say is wow. The view from a homeless child is truly waking up my eyes. It is so hard to understand what a child is willing to do to stop the abuse they are exposed to and are willing to risk living on the streets to find their own survival.

This book was definitely my favorite by this author. I cried so much and felt so connected to the main character. Love the way this author writes and have been hooked since the first book.

Wow this book was the first of her books that showed levels of neglect and abuse to a male character and it was shocking. The desire of survival the passion of revenge left me breathless until the very end.

This was the first book I read by this author and it started my desire to read her books. She is an incredible writer and opens you up to the world of sex trafficking, drugs, and abuse to a whole other level.

This author has a way of expressing herself. I have been on a kick to read her books and have yet to be disappointed. Abuse described very detailed but if definitely opens your eyes to abuse.

Loved this book. It was so full of twists and the end was one I was completely blown away with. I never expected the events that left me on the edge of my seat through the journey.

What an incredible story. The love he demonstrated for his son during the most challenging fight of his life was admirable. I really enjoyed seeing through different eyes the dedication he had for his family even during a time when his career had such demanding expectations.

About to start this journey. I needed a different pace book than vampire diaries for a little bit. Hope this journey is worth taking.

So the adventures continue for Stefan and Damon. But this hatred and rescue between the two brothers is getting to be an endless song and dance. I love the adventures but just wish they would stop with this love hate relationship already. It is becoming so annoying.

My new read so far I am loving it. Two chapters in.

It was great story and definitely ended in a way I was not expecting. I am really not sure what to think of the end but it was really good. I really enjoyed the characters in the book and their development.

This first hand experience was eye opening. It provided me with a few of the sacrifices one will make to willfully survive all challenges no matter how miraculous it may seem. Will for surviving allowed these 16 men to overcome all types of dangers.

Just started today and can't seem to put it down. What an incredible book about determination and survival.

I am truly enjoying this series. It has given me a deeper understanding of the relationships that Stefan has developed along his journey. It has also given me an outlook of Damon's anger and his desire to destroy his brother's happiness in all ways possible.

It's crazy how quickly a series that you do not expect to captive your attention does. I was never into vampire books but this series has me wanting to know what will happen as Stefan and Damon continue to adjust to their transformation.

Loved the way this book have a better understanding of the transition for Stefan and Damon's transformation to vampires. I can also see him w the eternal died would have begun between the brothers.

This book was so good. It demonstrated the craziness a person is willing to go for love. The struggle that is faced when one is in a dangerous situation where they have to decide just how much they are willing to do to protect one you love.

When I can't sleep I read hoping that I can get my mind to turn off. This book has me so drawn in I lose track of time and can't pull away from wanting to know what happens next. 52% in to the story and I feel like I'm on an emotional rollercoaster.

What level will a parent go to defend their child? As a mother I am completely understanding the position of the father. He is going to do anything in his power to protect his son. But can a mother begin to lose hope.

So far it is starting.slow but I am intrigued to figure out where this story will lead. I have read the first four chapters.

Absolutely loved it. It was a good mix of romance and quirky comedy. Definitely enjoyed the series so far.

This book have just the right amount of excitement, suspense, and rush I needed to keep my mind calm while getting ready for my wedding. Great character development. A must read.

The development of the relationship between Tera and Reid is great. I can't wait to find out what caused the fallout of their friendship as kids. Now with the case against Tera she needs all the support she can get to not lose her mind.

About to start on a new journey

Of you want a book full of suspense until the very end, this is the book for you. I loved every minute of my read even when I was on the edge of my seat.

I was so in the zone reading that I forgot where I was until my two year old scared the life out of me. To say the least this book has definitely has me hooked.

I started this book and it is so good hard to put down.

What an amazing story. It was truly heartbreaking but also helped to see the courage of survival

So decided to change the pace and begin Educated by Tera Westover. I will go back to I am Jessica but I think I need to get over the repeatative of the book.

Not going to lie. I have been struggling to finish reading my current book. All this craziness with the coronavirus has me stressed. I will try to finish it so that I can start Educated by Tera Westover.

I am so hooked on this book and since it is a true crime I am even more hooked.

About to begin a new journey. Let's see how it goes. Rating aren't very good but I tend to enjoy books that others hate so it could be different for me.

This book demonstrated the power of love even out of a tragic situation. What an incredible blend of emotions and perspectives from the characters. Wonderful

How challenging would it be to blend families together once an adopted child is found? Even if the adoption was by known parties is that something that would be harder for the adopted child or the children that were raised by the parent that gave the other child up for adoption.

My husband is adopted and through the ability of ancestry DNA he has been able to find both his biological parents. One was not welcoming but the other was amazing.

I'm currently reading Why the Sky is Blue by Susan Meissner. This book has me feeling so many emotions. I can not imagine how the characters can endure the emotional rollercoaster. The strength exhibited by the characters is incredible.

This book is filled with so much emotions. I have to take breaks to be able to process it all.

Absolutely loved this book. It reminded me of the battle it has take my first love and I to make our love grow to where it needed to be 24 years ago.

I'm on chapter 21 and I can't put this book down. I want to know what is the turn out of what the letters contain.

Finally made it to the final part of the book. Part of me is ready to see where this is heading and part of me likes the unknown of what is to come to.close out the first book of the series. Not sure if I will read the second book right away. When reading a series do you continue on or give yourself time in between with another book?

Finally got back to this book. I know it was challenging but it is a great story. I just have a hard time focusing. But really love the cliffhangers.

What a great book. This story shared the compassion of what love, and the tragic death of a dog who was full of energy but was broken by not having a chance to truly experience the freedom he needed to be fulfilled.

This book was full of twist and turns. Loved it and the unexpected ending.

Love the cliffhangers at the end of each chapter. It makes me want to just keep reading. I'm trying so hard to enjoy every minute of my time to read but life has really taken its toll my literature escape.
