A short, but powerful read, especially relevant in the time of the #metoo movement. Definitely among Margat Atwood‘s best.

We need more books about single women doing great things with their lives! This is a great memoir ❤️

A great book which serves the dual purpose of confirming all my worst fears about having a child and, at the same, also opened my eyes the whole experience. The writer minces no words in detailing her experience of childbirth, postpartum depression and being the only mother among her peers. Reading this was an eye opening experience in several ways.

I loved the movie, but I adored the books. By the time I‘d finished the third book, all I knew was that I loved Lara Jean and it felt like I‘d FELT all those experiences and everything she‘d been through. It‘s great when books make you FEEL so much. I cannot recommend this book series enough. It‘s like sipping a perfect cup of coffee snuggled in bed at the beginning of a long holiday.

I found this to be the best of the Earthsea series by Ursula Le Guin. The previous three books were excellent, but this one surpasses them. For a change, the protagonist is a woman. So many gender issues are touched upon and it‘s all done so beautifully.

I loved this book so much I didn‘t want to finish reading because. I finished and suffered withdrawal symptoms for at least half a day. And then I picked up The Song of Achilles by Madeline Miller. It‘s a captivating and powerful story which is so beautifully written. An absolute must read.
