Despite the books relatively small page count, it packs a punch. Gemmell has an amazing ability to pull the reader into the story and feel the emotions of the characters. This series is quickly becoming one of my top choices.

This book is so-so, only by the standard Erikson has set for himself. The convergence seems stretched and ultimately flat by the time it actually happens (Those who have read it will likely know what event I'm referring to).
All-in-all, another great book.

I was hesitant to continue with the series when I realized my desire for more of the Bridgeburners would go momentarily unsatisfied. Reluctantly, I pushed on.
Boy, am I glad that I did. This book is fantastic, and an absolute necessity to the series.

As a student of philosophy, especially that of epistemology and morals/ethics, I am learning to really appreciate Erikson's style of story development and dialogues. This book is rife with so many philosophical implications. I cannot begin to count how many times I had to out the book down and think about the deeper meanings. A++

Wow. Erikson delivers a thrilling, and heartbreaking, story in this book. I am very happy that I stumbled my to this series.

Far better than the first book. Erickson's character and geopolitical development are fantastic. The book contains seemingly non-stop action and excitement, as Erikson effectively supplements higher paced storylines with lulls in others.
I highly recommend this series for anyone who also likes Brandon Sanderson's Stormlight Archive series.

I was pleasantly surprised by this book. The character and story development is superb. Sure, some of the writing can be improved. There are moments that the grammatical errors are jarring, and difficult to follow.
But, the story itself has massive potential. It is full of thrilling and captivating moments. I look forward to the next addition.

The overall story and delivery is fairly unique and exciting. Yet, there are minor moments and characterisms that seem to be clear copies of other successful books.
Nonetheless, Rothfuss does bring an entirely unique system of magic that is far from it's seeming simplicity. I look forward to reading through the series as it develops.

Phenomenal!
Sanderson is clearly a Surgebinder, as there should be no way for him to produce as many books as he does, and maintain the quality throughout them all. Oathbringer is a hefty 1200 page book, and it was captivating enough to keep my attention and excitement through its entirety.
I do have one issue, though. Sanderson has risen the bar high enough that I now find less enjoyment in other books. (Hardly a real issue)

I started reading this series after finishing Brandon Sanderson's most recent book. I had read a few reviews and forums saying the writing style is fairly similar.
Gardens of the Moon does have a similar geopolitical developmental style as Sanderson.
The only downfall in this book to me was that the book gradually lessens in linguistic complexity and violent imagery that was displayed in the earlier parts of the book.
