At some points too graphic and violent for my taste, so I don't think I'll be continuing the series, but the research is impeccable, the story is riveting, and the villain is the worst (the best?) I've ever read. The heroine is whip smart and resourceful. Diana Gabaldon is brilliant.

My least favorite book in the Lunar Chronicles, but I am in love with this version of the cover so we had to have a proper photo shoot. Overall I do love it for its place in the series.

Not gonna lie, I'm really proud of this photo, hahaha. (Spanish edition). These fairy tale sci-fi retellings are a delight.

thelibraryofmars That cover is gorgeous! 8y

These books are pure poetry and every moment is a joy. I don't know how many times I've returned to these books just to relax.

The ultimate story of King Arthur. If you enjoy any depiction of Arthurian legend in any other book or movie, you owe it to yourself to read the novel that inspired the vast majority of them.

Some of the best writing I've ever read in terms of craft and prose. This book reads like a breeze but the story chills you to the core.

Possibly the greatest war book ever written. This book changed my life.

After reading 100 Years of Solitude, I flew through this in a day. Not sure if I love it as much as my Hubs (it's one of his all-time favorites), but the ending is pure genius.

The first Gabo book I ever read. I picked it up because Hubs recommended it and it took me a year to get through. BUT! It was well worth the effort and after decoding the writing style I've found G. Marquez's other books easier to read. Beautiful and haunting, this book is a unique gem.

GuiltyFeat When I was 18 my sister's ex-boyfriend told me to read this and it would change my life. I did and it did 8y
