What a story! Absolutely loved this book. Kind of feel a bit lost now I have finished it. Deeply moving, sad, funny, surprising. This book had everything. Best book I‘ve read for a while!

I‘ve read every Jackson Brodie book that KA has written and loved them. This was great, but not my favourite of the JB cases. Worth a read though.

Absolutely fabulous. Covering the sensitive issue of domestic abuse but so beautifully written through a child‘s eyes. It had me in pieces at the end. A must read.

A friend of mine recommended this book to me and I would never have chosen it from the blurb.....however, it was just fabulous. Hooked me in from the start. Couldn‘t put it down, and am now missing reading it now I‘ve finished it!

Read this with my daughter. A real page turner and hilarious in places. Love some of the descriptions....appeals to both a child‘s and an adult‘s sense of humour!

Oh goodness....this sequel to ‘Once‘ didn‘t disappoint. It was harrowing in places and sad, but also touched on friendship, family and love. I just love the ten year old character Felix. I‘m going to have to read the next one.
