ReadingEnvy I'm about 1/4 in to the Ferrante and I like it better than the first one, which I liked. Wishing for more extended reading periods though, so I can immerse. 7y

daena @ReadingEnvy I am feeling the same way about Ferrante. The second book is much more engrossing. Maybe it is because we are already vested in the characters? The pace is different too. 7y

ReadingEnvy @daena I think it's knowing the characters but also a lot of their naivete is being exposed. It's interesting to me to see the women realizing the limitations in their society. 7y
