I‘ve been sucked into this series! I thought this was a fun chapter title.

I've had to stop reading the shadow hunter series as I am so busy with animal rescues right now so I'm going to read this story and know I'll love it #disney #twistedtales #beautyandthebeast #prince #curse

This title will be released in May and I have to say this first in a new series is off to a fun start. Two girls who want to desperately be perfect villains in training if they could just get accepted in B.A.D. there are giggles and plenty of excitement as these two fight against expectations.

I really enjoyed this. A new spin on the world of superheroes and supervillains, and a great narrator. Good use of text messages too.

For a superhero book, this went by quick with little action and a lot of downtime. I see it‘s a big deal as DC‘s Jewish character here yet they didn‘t really show that aspect of Willow‘s life. There‘s so much gray area throughout the book. She finds herself doing bad in order to do good. ending doesn‘t wrap it up the best. I liked how it‘s broad, but it didn‘t feel like a conclusive end. Still a fun read, between colors and Gotham City Easter eggs

Unbreakable meets V for Vendetta.
Vicious and fascinating and fairly feminist and inclusive.
Does not pull any punches (pun intended) in examining the hypothetical fall out of super humans, both good and villainous, among regular humans, the collateral damage and the many ways to abuse power. The super humans are still 'human' in all the ways that make things messy.
