Day 2 of #12daysofchristmas is my favorite #TwoTurtledoves, Roiben and Kaye from #TitheAModernFairyTale by #HollyBlack! I believe I've already reviewed this but it was my first introduction to non-D&D fantasy and I adore this entire series.

blithebuoyant @LibrarianRyan Ironside was, dare I say, even better. I haven't read Valiant yet but I need to, it's not the same cast as the first two. And there is another book not in the same town but in the same universe as Roiben and Kaye called The Darkest Part Of The Forest that I just read a month or so ago that I didn't know about but it was lovely.

Maybe this is a strange choice, but I instantly thought of Merricat and Constance when I started thinking about #twoturtledoves . They love each other and are close. Also, there is an innocence about them even with what happens in the story.
