I loved this version of Supergirl's story from Tom King, and adored the gorgeous artwork by Bilquis Evely. In this Hugo-nominated work, the story is told from the point-of-view of a girl who seeks Supergirl's help in avenging the murder of her father.

An extraordinary book. King gives Supergirl an actual character beyond just being Superman's cousin. The elevated dialogue is really fun. Evely's art captures the blend of fantasy, Western, and cosmic sci-fi perfectly.

With DC's big announcement of a new slate of projects, including a Supergirl show, I picked the perfect time to catch up on this acclaimed story from Tom King and Bilquis Evely that has been billed as "True Grit in space."

And with Bombshells finished, I've completed #Roll100 for January. Looking forward to February's numbers!

I would die for Supergirl and for this comic. Wow. Though Ruthye's narration could be a bit flowery and verbose at times, this was a truly exemplary take on Supergirl. It's a journey through the galaxy as Supergirl and Ruthye attempt to track down a murderer, facing horror after horror along the way. Supergirl has a fowl mouth and a sense of humor and I loved it. All the stars.

World War II was a time when women stepped up and kept society running when the men left for the battlefield. What isn‘t usually mentioned though it just how much of a role women played in the war. In this first volume of Bombshells, we see just how impactful our heroines from across the world were in helping to fight off the Nazis.

I had such high hopes for this series but it ended up being so boring for me.

Supergirl is very very very very strong woman. who are cousin clark is superman to. isn't this werid the supergirl should put superwoman.but superwoman is is lame. and superboy is lame to so. super girl and supermannn. and look at her picture she is so mad i don't know why 😂 😂
