I'm a little tired of people who think teachers should use marshmallows and sugar cubes to teach architecture. This year, it was cranberries and tooth picks! You know who pays for that? Teachers. Meanwhile, go out on the playground and look for kids building fairy houses or this dog. 🙄 she's just as tired. My goodreads review is a lot nicer. Sorry. But at least I included the dog.

My little overflow bookcase arrived. It nestled nicely in front of my fireplace, but it clearly isn‘t big enough. 😭😭 I will be doing some culling soon, donating books I know I will never read or that I won‘t finish/didn‘t enjoy. I have to make room for a Small Business Saturday book haul, right? The more I look at it, the more I think I may make it an art piece by doing those rainbow shelves I keep seeing. I could do that for just these.

I recently finished a book about massive home renovation in Detroit so looked for something similar and found this one. The author buys a rundown Cleveland mansion and begins the process of bringing it back to life. All of this takes place while his life continues on and children are born. It was interesting and easy to read. I found the author has newer books and I would like to read them sometime too.
