Mirage | Somaiya Daud

so-so

Solid meh. The ending redeemed a lot of it. I enjoyed the relationships between the girls, but would've liked more world building. Or maybe better world building? I never got a good sense of the place or of the technology, honestly. Not my favorite.

gossamerchild @Sace it's a pretty personal response to the book. If you like scifi/fantasy that's more character-driven than world building it's not bad. And the focus on empathy for people different than you was great. It just wasn't what I was expecting. 4y

Sace @gossamerchild I'm not into sci-fi/fantasy at all. I just always feel a little sad when a book is pretty but someone wasn't into the book. I know I know...can't judge a book by its cover 🤣 4y
