As a kid, we had the whole set of Nancy Drew books from the 40's. I devoured them. I remember this one, because Nancy's friend owned this inn, and had some diamonds stolen. I need to go find a copy and read it again . #LyricalApril #diamonds

BethM Ladies- I have two Nd books- one is 1&2 together, one is 3&4 together from the 1960s I believe. If anyone wants one or both to restart your collections I'd be happy to send them to you. 7y

mcctrish I loved Nancy Drew! I used to save my allowance and once a month go to Woolco ( Canadian predecessor to Walmart) on $1.44 day to buy a new ND book and fries with gravy at the lunch counter #howoldami 🤣 7y

Laalaleighh As a kid my best friends and a specifically read and reread the ones where Nancy got kidnapped. We thought it was exciting. Looking back it freaks me out. I think we were strange children. 7y
