#junebookbugs Day 18 My dad was an avid reader. He would read anything, but loved westerns. After a long day of work, he spent his evening reading. Just like many of us, he would stay up late finishing a book even though his day started early. He also reread books often. I know he contributed to my love of reading. Today is my doggie's first birthday! She is an honorary Litten, I think, since she is named Ellie, after a smart, brave, caring, strong female character from a book that both my husband and I love.
