It‘s funny how this series has lots of features that turn me off yet I always eat them up and I‘ll definitely continue the series.

2 things… I don‘t need intense dieting advice in any book, but DEFINITELY not in a cookie themed cosy. Aren‘t we all here for the desserts? Hannah judges ‘promiscuous‘ women while dating two men who both want to be exclusive but she won‘t. Do what you need my girl but why are we being mean about other women?

CSeydel I‘m not sure that‘s true. That may be the origin of the idiom “cake walk” for something easy, but I thought the first known reference to “piece of cake” was Ogden Nash. 7mo

JuliaTheBookNerd @CSeydel from what I found the origin is like many idioms where there are 2 or more stories of the origin. Ogden Nash is the other well known origin. No one know which one is the true origin. 7mo

JuliaTheBookNerd @CSeydel There is also an origin story for this idiom that it originated in the Royal Air Force in the 1930s 🤷🏻‍♀️ Not sure which one is true but I went with the earliest reference origin 7mo

CSeydel Is there a historical source for the slave cake walk origin? Sometimes people get confused and post info on websites that isn‘t entirely accurate. I suppose it‘s the “1870s” error that is making me doubt. 7mo

( the guy Cameron Matteson used to be on all my children and is now on General Hospital and I thought it would be fun if it were a Book cover too, instead of just a movie poster- I know he does a lot of those hallmark movies) for that matter, the female used to be on a soap also- I think days of our life!
