My book choice is a little bit more “the world is my oyster mushroom!” I liked the idea of using this prompt to explore the world a little - albeit from my armchair. And as this book is about the wonders of the natural world i thought Cat Stevens “Wild World” would be a nice fit.

Maybe because there‘s so many plants in the world, and the author had to choose the representatives that were—by necessity of the format—more common?

Still, the writing is superbly descriptive, and—if you keep an image search close at hand—you‘re in for a colorful journey. The human-plant connections are also thoroughly explored

More #bookmail The authors are associated with the Florida Wildflower Foundation, and i attended a webinar that they gave last summer, just before this was published. We‘re trying to plant native species and avoid exotic plants, and I think this is going to be a valuable addition to my gardening library.
