This drives me 🤬 crazy!!! 🙄 It‘s annoying and clueless. This is very nearly a deal breaker (as in I‘m done with the book and the author) for me. I like her so much, it‘s making me just skip this poem, but if I see it again, I‘m out. HISTORY IS NOT A GENDERED TERM!!! Using “herstory” hurts female historians. STOP IT!!!

GingerAntics @kathedron I‘m so glad I‘m not the only one on Litsy. I know several people IRL. In fact, I‘ve yet to find a female historian IRL who did anything but cringe at it. 4y
