Of course this was awesome - it‘s IA stories from the world of Kate Daniels! That said, some were better than others (Kate only features in two, and only largely in one), but none were bad. I had a hard time getting into this, but it was good overall. The narrator is an aki, a sin-eater, part of the lowest caste in Kos but absolutely necessary to the city‘s existence. He becomes embroiled in palace intrigues and gets caught up in a rebellion.
