Sitting outside in the relative morning cool I finally finished this beautiful story. I think part of me didn‘t want it to end . Having read her biography first shed a different light on this book for me I think. Knowing what I know about her life and way way too early death , even her acknowledgments made me tear up. I‘m about to search out 2 of her previous books.

Good on audible. I wasn‘t a fan of how end of life care was handled. It‘s a delicate subject but one that should be discussed, particularly with loved ones. Too often the person who is suffering and dying‘s wishes aren‘t heard because it‘s too hard for the family. I wish it was handled in a different manner but it is basically a light read so I‘ll give it a pass.

Photo 5 - Ordered this Evergreen Trail Journal from Taylor Bradshaw with creative exercises in it. I‘m looking forward to trying them out. I want to start writing again. I used to write and I enjoyed it.

Ugh what a Horrible reading month 😣 First a sick toddler, then a sick household, then me with a damn sinus infection all adds up to a LOT of time laying on the couch binging Cake Boss and almost no reading 😔

I hadn‘t heard of this book before looking for some #ScarathlonPhotoChallenge inspiration, but it sounds great! And not only is #October in the title, it is the MCs name!

Another one to add to my tbr 😂
