Mittagsstunde took me weeks to read, which is never a good sign. I finally set down yesterday, determined to finally finish it. It‘s not bad, but her first novel Altes Land is much better written and you feel a lot more with the characters.

#Poetry is so hit and miss for me but I was glad to hear this #Shetland poet‘s rhythms of weaving English in with the #island #dialect, speaking of identity, wholeness, loss, and change.
