4⭐️ I quite liked the book; a nice fun read. There were some differences in the book that weren‘t in the movie, but for the most part, the movie adaptation came pretty close to the book. Kristio I'm not a huge fan of retellings, but P&P adjacent stories are great! Anything by Elizabeth Asten, Georgiana Darcy's Diary, and Longbourne are all some of my favorites! 7y

Leniverse I loved the original and disliked the retelling. Not planning on reading any other retellings or sequels, including Bridget Jones sequels. 7y
