The ninth book in the Roy Grace series and I still can't get enough! Lots of shocks in this one! I think this may be one if the more tense Roy Grace novels. It had be on pins most of the time. The back stories of the characters really takes off here and we find out some interesting things! Another 5 star book from Peter James

Well, it wasn't bad...but it was far from amazing. I found it a little too farfetched, and I couldn't connect with any of the characters. So it just became a surface read. I couldn't immerse properly into the story! I'm really sad about it because I thought I was gonna love this one! ⭐⭐⭐

⭐⭐⭐⭐ Its 1964. The germans have won the war. The story follows detective Xavier March as he is called to retrieve a body from the river. But it all takes a turn and he finds himself up against the Gestapo!
Anyone who likes conspiracies would enjoy this one.
