I found the card in the used book. I looked him up. He passed away a year and a half ago. Finding things in books is awesome!

I think this is going to be a bail. It‘s not bad, but it leans really heavily on a pet peeve of mine, which is when characters who were once close reunite after several years and interact like they were never apart. I also really dislike Julia Whelan‘s dopey male character voice, so I‘m just more annoyed than anything. This is the rare book that might be better in print for me.
Meh story was okay. I liked the art and the vampires were my favorite.

Read that book it took me two months to finish it.
3.5 Stars • "If This Book Exists, You're in the Wrong Universe" is the fourth installment in Jason Pargin's "John Dies at the End" series. This novel continues the adventures of Dave, John, and Amy in the city of "Undisclosed," where they confront various supernatural phenomena including interdimensional parasites, paranormal cults, and a possessed toy. ⬇️
Funny and thought provoking, a powerful novel of friendship and quantum mechanics.

Big thank you to @Andrew65 for hosting again this year!
This is my 3rd by TJR and, wow, I love her writing! Very creative, and very exciting stories! I didn‘t think a parallel universe romance could be so rich and complex. I loved the friendship, multiple timelines, and the dog.
Read if you like Dark Matter by Blake Crouch, TJR, quantum mechanics science fiction, or found family.

My sister and I are buddy reading this book and she‘s a faster reader than me. She texted me a few days ago and said Let me know when you get to p. 200! and yesterday while in line at the post office I did. I think I guffawed. I know I choked back laughter and had tears streaming down my face! I had to get a picture to let her know I got there in the most inconvenient place! (It‘s R-rated!) 😆
The joys of a good buddy read!
💙ing the book btw.
Loved this book and the idea of the two parallel realities. Having lost the love of my life, my better half, my soul mate last year the final line of this book left me bawling at my desk at work. So so good. All the stars for this author, this book, and this #audiobook narrator!
