#ReadInAruba I'm still reading this but I made lots of progress on vacation. I often have to stop reading because Eric will hear me laugh and I'll read the ridiculous part out loud to him. It's another in the number of books where a white dude tries to do something weird for a period of time (usually a year) and his wife judges him.

Pickpick

#ReadInAruba I was finally able to finish this book as well. This is an IN-DEPTH(!!) look at a very specific time in history. The author goes over what seems like every single factor, though I especially enjoyed his descriptions of the Mojave. There is so much exposition in this book that there are over 200 pages before we even get to the charge! Yet the wait is worth it.

Pickpick

#ReadInAruba Over a month ago now I went to Aruba for my birthday and planned to do lots of reading. I finished this book, which I really enjoyed reading, although the ending disappointed me. In an earlier post, I mentioned I started this on "guard duty" and read almost 100 pages in one sitting. And I don't usually do fiction!
