MY RATING⇢ 4½ ✰STARS✰
This is a story of an abusive relationship...but there's a twist to this, one I didn't see coming at all. The narration was not bad, considering my issues with some accents. This narrator worked out okay for me.

This is the first Audible I‘ve listened to all year as I usually find myself getting sidetracked and not paying attention. However, this is so good and I‘d recommend it anyone!

The couple you will find in "My Lovely Wife" is all around you. They are your parents. Your friends. Your neighbors. They are normal people. With normal lives. Yet boredom plays such a catastrophic tone they decide to murder and torture young women. A story where a normal couple find themselves suddenly in the position of serial killers while we are left to think, were they that normal after all? A thrilling tale that horrifies yet intrigues.

The Wives is another insane, yet distinctly Tarryn, type of story.

I am giving this pick, but up into the last 20 or so pages I was like this is so slow. The ending wow oh wow.

TheLudicReader I was just...why are you talking to these people...oh look, another red herring. 🙄 6d

I really enjoyed this book but it wasn‘t as twisty and unpredictable as I was led to believe. I had the overall story figured out pretty early but I still liked all the details and the psychological manipulation. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

PerksOfBeingABookworm I agree! Not a lot of twists, but the emotional manipulation was fascinating. I thought the ending fell a little flat though. 7d
TamTracy @PerksOfBeingABookworm Yeah I think the ending could have been a little more exciting. 6d

Have you bookworms read any of these books? I just started Small Spaces yesterday and I'm enjoying it! The other books are the ones I have read so far this year 😄 I like that I'm off to a really good start with my reading for 2020 but know that it won't be the same for every month and that's okay 😊

MelissaSue81 I read dear Evan Hansen and really liked it. It gives a lot of context/backstory that the musical doesn‘t touch on. 1w
