April 28, 2025 ooooo things are getting steamy. So far so GOOD. Scarlett has shared that she likes and has feelings for Lukas. Lukas Penolope also told Scarlett the truth that she was the one who initiated the breakup between her a Lukas because she felt there was no chemistry and no sex. Now she is with another guy and she is enjoying that relationship.

April 25, 2025 I have not been constantly picking up the book because life is life, but I have been enjoying the book thus far. I hope to finish this soon or by the end of May (before summer) and then choose my next TBR. Not sure which one I will read next: The Chinese Groove by Kathryn Ma or something else...

April 11, 2025 Omg I am screaming inside but I could not have asked for a better ending. I feel like in a lot of books I read (e.g. thrillers), the author chooses to save the main character rather than let the main character die or get killed. In thrillers, I also find that the main character is fighting for their life and being deceived by a lover or a friend that eventually turns out to be an enemy. She survives... 5/5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ #nospoilers

April 9, 2025 ooooo the story is coming into full bloom. On pages 200-203, some new info comes into light. Mia Ross is not actually Madeline's god daughter, Mia IS her daughter. She had an unplanned pregnancy with a Black guy when she was young. She told her mom she was pregnant and it upset her mom, but her mom told her to go through with it. Thomas then told her mom he could help and so her mom let Thomas take her in as an orphan. WEIRD

continued... Hazel emailed many orphanges and looked up the photo of the guy with grapes on either side and the results shocked her. The Google search gave her a result of Bacchus which is defined as: " a god of wine and gover of ectasy, identified with Dionysus". Could the choir teacher be blamed for Mia's disappearance??? DUN DUN DUN

April 8, 2025 I am close to halfway and my mind is constantly thinking about who could have taken Mia Ross, a young twelve year old Black girl who enjoyed singing and also doing Broadway. She did not have many friends and vistors. The only visitor she had two times a year was Madeline Hemsley, her godparent. Did she take her away or did she blackmail someone at the orphanage to take her away? Penny, her roommate, shared a picture with Hazel.

April 8, 2025 Hmmm could it be the choir teacher that did something to Mia? Did he have a romantic relationship with her and cause her to disappear? Or is it Dr. Mackenzie, a old teacher that is part of Saint Agnes? I feel as if both men have something to hide and won't tell Hazel Cho. sigh

The main character Hazel Cho (who is a private investigator is asked by a woman named Madeline Hemsley, a godparent and stranger to Mia Ross, who is twelve year old girl gone missing, to help find her. It has been months since she called the police and they have not found her yet. Hazel is bribed to find her within 48 hours. Can she do it? Only time will tell...

April 7, 2025 My new TBR stack. I (sort of) read White Fragility a while back when I was in college but it has been a while, let me tell you so I am rereading it from start to finish. I am also planning to read Deep End by Ali Hazelwood and The Orphanage By the Lake by Daniel G. Miller

April 4, 2025 Dang. So much has happened since the previous post. I thought Will was the dangerous one and lying to Amy. The dangerous one is actually two people: Damon Sawyer and Jade. They are the couple and they were the ones in charge of killing Mary, Cameron, the real Dr. Beck, and Ramona (the real nurse). Nicole was a stand-in and third wheel who just followed Damon Sawyer around and did what Jade and him told her to do. Shivers am i right?

April 4, 2025 News flash! On page 206, we find out more about Jade and who her boyfriend is. Any guesses? I for sure did not think anything about it until I read the last fee sentences but it all makes sense. She got upset when Amy had told Dr. Beck that Will did not take his pills. She seemed like she cared so much about Will. But why? Because Will is her boyfriend and they both entered the facility at the same time. Mystery solved.

April 4, 2025 On pages 156-157, Amy shares with Dr. Beck some of her concerns. One is of Will Schoenfeld. Another is of Cameron. sigh Cameron. When she goes to check on Will, she finds out that he has been hiding his pills in his book, which only means that he has not been taking his medications to help himself get better. He is suspicious of Amy but does not say anything. She then asks about Cameron. Ramona found a note that he had an emergency.

April 4, 2025 So the red stuff thag Miguel is covered in is actually not blood; it's strawberry jelly. Phew. If it were blood i would hella scared and think that Damon Sawyer tried to kill him. It has been mentioned multiple times already that Damon Sawyer is out to kill everyone. Is this true? And WHERE is Cameron?? He still has not shown up after all the yelling Miguel did (related to wanting to leave)

April 4, 2025 Chapter 22! Im am terrified right now because I have read a lot about Amy but not a lot about Cameron, her ex-boyfriend. Is Cameron alright? Amy has been visiting different patients on Ward D. She visited Mary Cummings and her old friend Jade Carpenter. But suddenly the lights went out and Miguel, one of the patients, comes out covered in blood... naked too. What happened?

April 3, 2025 Im on Chapter 5 and things are going down. Amy is supposed to work in Ward D as a psychiatrist but she does not want to be that She'd rather be ANYTHING but that. She remembers her best friend Jade Carpenter and how she use to be so kind. Then an off switch turned her into somebody entirely different. What will happen next? *Spooky and chills* haha (not really however that is how I feel when I read her books)

April 2, 2025 DONE! Now I wouldn't say this was a fabulous, fantastic, over-the-top read, because it wasn't. I am going to be more truthful and say that it was entertaining and easy to understand. It was the kind of book where you learn about one's life. This was not a "deep" book; it was a surface level book. Therefore, I give it 3/5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️

April 1, 2025 Today is Monday.... NOT April Fools!!! Today is Tuesday and it has been a gloomy cold day for me; not sure about you but that is how my dah has gone. I basically have been cooped up in my home snuggled up in a blanket reading (just imagine). I am flipping through these pages like nothing. I am very close to the end (page 243 out of 317) and have not felt surprised or like "Whoa, really?!" The book is so-so in my opinion. Not shocking

March 28, 2025 My next TBR! I have just started reading it (yesterday actually) and it sounds like a book that is pretty conversational and focuses on her life. Can't wait to see what her life is about because I don't know much about her other than watching Fresh Off the Boat on ABC...

March 27, 2025 READ this book very slowly. It is definitely not written like other books. Some words are repeated. The sentences are fragmented but the ideas are there. Overall, the author captured the theme of love through these two characters by telling a love story. I would give the book 4/5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

March 27, 2025 These words are simple but mean a lot. Simple words or sentences may look simple but can have a deeper meaning. For example, read the words above. She is likely gone from Abe's life which is pretty sad. You can tell how much Abe loved Jane and how much they had gone through together. He was by her side and cared for her with every last bit of his own heart. He wanted her to feel loved. And I THINK SHE DID ❤️

March 25, 2025 On Chapter 27!!! Very close to the end. I feel like the pace of the writing is picking up speed. It was slow in the beginning and middle and NOW it is getting faster. I read mostly about Jane and how she is feeling after giving birth to Max. She wasnt even sure whether she would have Max but she did and Abe is helping in any way he can. She appreciates it. He also is writing a book while she is making artwork. Abe loves her #love

March 11, 2025 I thought this book was going to be written the same way as other books where the pages are filled from top to bottom and continue to the next page. Nope. This book is set up in a diary-like fashion and most paragraphs begin with "You remember...". I am really liking the way that the author writes each chapter from different perspectives: Jane, Abe, and Max (miracle son).

I am VERY MUCH enjoying this book because it is about two gay couples, Ben and Mario, Arthur and Mikey, but how Arthur still has feelings for Ben after making a trip to New York and meeting up with him. February 17, 2025 FINISHED! I am proud of myself for jumping on the train and reading this book. It is a helpful tool that I can always use --- well maybe when I feel is appropriate --- in my daily life. Not everything in this book relates to me but I can connect with the section titled "Your Relationships and the Let Them Theory". This section was about adulting and really stuck with me. 5/5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I feel that as humans and individuals, we always tend to get very sensitive when someone says a negative thing about us. We need to remember ultimately that it does not matter what others say so just ignore them. They will not make you feel better. YOU can only make yourself feel better.

As humans, one of our natural emotions is stress. Stress is not a healthy thing to have. However, we can deal with stress in a healthy way. Take deep breaths and calm ourselves.

February 11, 2025 Page 392 out of 455... Hattie and Hayes are engaged. Hattie is one of Ryland's sisters. Hayes is a best friend of Ryland. Ryland is getting calles Uncle Dad now (Feeling emotional since Cassidy, another sister, passed away). Mac is his noece but Ryland finds it very loving and sweet that she calls him Uncle Dad. This means tha he is doing something right. Mac also likes having Gabby around. Ryland likes that too haha Love wins!!

February 11, 2025 (continued) Now Ryland and Gabby are working together and handling their relationship without issues. Ryland could not stop thinking about Gabby. He was also jealous when he saw her with Christian. He would feel nauseous seeing her with somebody else. Gabby picked up on that and reminded Ryland to stop feeling jealous and just leave her alone. He agreed that he was acting that way and chose to change his behavior

I am currently reading The Path to Loving Him bh Meghan Quinn and then The Let Them Theory by Mel Robbins but could not find the book by Meghan Quinn when I searched Litsy. Anyway, I am on page 316 out of 455. VERY CLOSE ekkk At first, Ryland and Gabby, who are coworkers had friends with benefits. Then, Gabby felt like there should be none. Ryland did not like that but gave in.

February 1, 2025 My goal was to read 3 books in January (meaning that I finish this book by January 31) but I did not quite finish it when I wanted to. It started out slow and took a while for me to figure out who killed Dawn Taggert.

January 30, 2025 On page 195 out of 335. Still wondering where Aiden is and what happened to Dawn Taggert, Linda and Brody's daughter. Gwendolyn was killed and her body was found in a swamp. "Police found xylazine in her suitcase... Some kind of animal tranquilizer used by farmers. But for the girl's sake, Mr. Gardner wants to keep thag information private".

January 28, 2025 Soooo like... is Frank ok? In a literal sense? He seems to be having a chaotic time prior to his daughter getting married. He keeps having bad memories creep up on him. I feel that he needs to relax. Everything will be ok OR will it??? "Brody Taggert was clearly intoxicated. And Gwendolyn just seemed jealous of my daughter's good fortune. Neither one of them could be trusted."

January 26, 2025 Now I am about halfway through. My main questions are: Where is Dawn Taggert? Did Aiden have something to do with her? Where is Aiden? Why didnt show up yet? Did he lie about being with Maggie that night?

January 26, 2025 Now for the mystery of Dawn Taggert. Who was she and did Aiden have anything to do with her? When Aiden, Errol, Frank, and Gerry met up at Ospry Cove to have a drink, Aiden told Frank that he had nothing to do with Dawn's disappearance and that he was with Maggie the whole time. When I read thag, I somehow do not believe him. WHAT DO YOU THINK HAPPENED TO DAWN?

January 26, 2025 (continued) The dad has to sign a privacy doc. Tammy is wondering why he would have to sign something if he is the father of the bride. He then calls Maggie and she tells him to just sign it; but her dad doesnt know what he is signing. Then, they are finally taken to their rooms where their luggage awaits. Abigail goes into her room and screams because she notices a bunch of daddy longlegs. Frank says that she is fine - no worries

January 26, 2025 Oh my! I just realized that there are 5 more days left of January! Where did the time go? Also, I wish the days would go by slower. Anyway, I am on page 107 and so far Maggie, Frank's daughter, and Aiden, Errol and Catherine's son are getting married. Of course, Maggie invites her dad and Aunt Tammy plus Abigail who is a child in foster care to their wedding. Weird things happen once they get to the venue...

January 24, 2025 OMG i finally finished it. I liked the romanctic banter between both Hardy and Everly. I already could tell from like the third to last chapter that they would get back together after having fought with each other and Hardy not teing the truth to her. He HURT her and then later promised he would never hurt her again. She gave him another chance and they live happily ever after. The End 😉

January 23, 2025 I have reached page 356. I am almost done with the book. Excited to finish and move onto my next TBR which is The Last One At the Wedding by Jason Rekulak. Ik that the next one is a thriller which is why I am saving it for my next read.
