Lola @giveitupforlentmom I've read all of his others, and still not sure how I feel about this author. I really liked (but didn't love) Ove and preferred Grandmother (which I did like but less than Ove) to Britt Marie. I liked his recent novella also. I've heard that Beartown is a major departure from his others-i.e. more serious, less whimsical. 7y

giveitupforlentmom @Lola yes totally not his norm. That wasn't an issue for me, the way it ended was not ok to me. 7y

Dineanddish I've only loved Ove of his...everything else I've read has been meh. 7y
