So Mary Poppins is leaving. This was the last book for my buddyread #marybuddyread.
I liked the third book the most. The last one was a repitition of the first three books and each character visits Mary Poppins in this book.
Now she leaves the Banks's kids and us for the last time, maybe another Nanny will warm our hearts again. 💖

Buechersuechtling Really fascinating. Until you posted about the series I did not even know that there is more than one book. ?? (But you‘re right, one might think I could have had a clue since the only book I have is named „Mary Poppins kommt zurück“ (?? „Mary Poppins returns“) so one could ask the question: „From where?“ which might indicate there must be at least one more book. One where she leaves because otherwise she can‘t return. *smartypants* 6y

ju.ca.no I think I enjoyed the second book the most, but it is closely followed by the third! In general I‘m glad we read them, they very surprisingly lovely! 6y

Sarah83 Yes that's really true. I liked the first and second story, but the third is not my kind of choice.. 🤷 6y

I am a little bit speechless. I really loved this book. After the first part was so different to the movie, that I didn't want to read all the other parts, the one was so cute. All the little stories and this time especially two stories about books. 😊 I loved the story about New Year's Eve and the story with the wise cat. 😍 #marybuddyread @ju.ca.no how did you like it? Tomorrow the next one?

I‘m starting the third Mary Poppins book for the #MaryBuddyRead with @Sarah83 a day early as I won‘t have much reading time tomorrow... our bathroom is being renovated, so there is a lot of noise and I have to shower at my cousin‘s apartment for the next week(s), one of my best friends is getting married tomorrow and I‘m going to a concert as well... busy day ahead, I already feel tired only thinking about it🙈

Finished this buddyread #marybuddyread.

I really loved the second book, after the first one disappointed me. The story is so far away from the movie, that I can't compare those two.

ju.ca.no I‘m not certain, but I think there was also a sweetsshop in the Park in the Musical Version🤔 6y

ju.ca.no I think I‘m liking the second book better than the first, it is so far away from the movie that I can‘t really compare them and Mary Poppins seems a bit less cross and vain (or at least not that often), and the stories are really cute! A bit like a fairytale collection 😍 @Sarah83 6y

ju.ca.no The Story about Spring was really sweet, and I love how the adventures/tales pick up things from the conversations of the kids, like Michael asking about the children of Noah and then meeting the eldest daughter!
The last story finally resembled the movie again, I think it‘s the first time we learn that the match man‘s name is Bert and the Merry-go-round appears as well😊 I also thought the ending was a really sweet one 😊 @Sarah83 6y
