Ironically my once feral, dirty, matted NYC stray has FINALLY jumped into my lap for the first time tonight. It just so happens I started a book where the author is capturing a filthy wild stray off the streets in NYC. I won't dwell on the fact I turned the thermostat down to 60F & covered up with a heated throw & wool blanket. Smirk is now officially a #littenkitten !

Dolly @EloisaJames Yes, she's my patent leather kitty. So different from when she first came home with shaved areas because (hard to believe a short haired cat can mat) her fur was matted. 7y
