Pickpick

This interesting pop sci book is just what I needed this weekend. #NerdVibes 🤓

Greg is a meteorite scientist, and he takes the reader through the history and current study of meteorites. From the early huge impact that formed the moon to modern hunters and prospectors, they have played a large role in the formation of Earth and how we may be able to find rare elements in the future. The #audiobook narration is great!

Megabooks #ImUnplanned #nonfiction22 @Riveted_Reader_Melissa because this was definitely an unplanned random library find, but it was good! 2y

Maybe I wasn‘t in the right frame of mind when I read this, but it took me until the last few chapters to get into the choppy flow of this memoir & start to really enjoy the slice of life recollections of the author‘s NYC Village childhood. Usually I love books that capture the NYC vibe since I grew up there & get nostalgic for it, but most of this described a NY that was too far removed from what I know to get that feeling.👇🏼

IndoorDame This in itself fascinates me since I usually recognize New Yorker‘s signature attitudes even in historical fiction and other situations far removed from my actual life… #NewYearWhoDis #Nonfiction2022 #ImUnplanned @monalyisha @jen_the_scribe @Riveted_Reader_Melissa 2y
jen_the_scribe I can definitely understand why you felt far removed from her rendition of NY. And the writing style is a bit odd, definitely unlike anything I ever read before. 2y
