If you are looking for a sci-fi book about an isolated person who does not rely on anyone, do not read this book. If you want to read how a group of individuals (humans/aliens/AI) end up on a spaceship and the communities they meet (not all friendly), read this amazing book! Amazing break/time read. On to the next one if this #Hugo winning series!

Hugo Awards were announced and The Stone Sky won for best novel! Every book in The Broken Earth trilogy won a Hugo which is great because they‘re great!

Interesting premise about a near-future where climate change has caused coastal areas to flood. Sadly the characters didn‘t really catch my attention. I was never convinced that this ragtag group of people would ever become friends or work towards the fairly radical goal of economic change. I‘ll be surprised if this wins the #hugo but I admit, I‘m rooting for Jemisen to win this year.

Look what my DH brought home to me from his out of town business trip! The gold ones are Blacks Readers Service from 1943, and the green is Harvard Classics. #bookhaul #blacksreadersservice #kipling #hugo #tolstoi #plato #myhusbandknowswhatilike

#hugo awards came out today. In honor I'm checking out some of the shorter works. Been wanting to read Nina Allan for a while anyway. Probably ship the T-Rex erotica though.

Gorgeously magical book- equal parts novel and graphic novel- pencil illustrations were exceptional. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️#Hugo

BeththeBookDragon I loved this book! 3y
CarrieBeckort My daughter loves this book. She borrowed her teacher's copy a couple years ago after they read it in class just to study the pictures. 3y
