pickI‘ve never read Balzac, and now is as good a time as any. This was only nine issues on @SerialReader and quite good. Colonel Chabert was thought to have died in battle, so when he shows up years later to find his wife has liquidated all his assets and remarried, trouble ensues. There‘s a lot wrapped up in this little novella.

Reviewsbylola Well tbf I started it last weekend before my slump really kicked in, plus it seems a bit easier to pick up serials in a sump because it‘s already divided up for you so your obligation is low. 😂 @BarbaraBB 4y
