Libby1 I didn‘t get to see much of it, @MrBook ! I had an impatient 7 year-old to attend to. My husband enjoyed it, though. 😃 7y

Libby1 @Oryx - yes, I did see the poppies. I also saw them at the Tower of London when they were there. There are a lot of events in coming months looking at conflict and the legacy of conflict. I hope to attend some of them. 7y

Game of Thrones | George R R Martin

Another literary exhibition I saw today at the #UlsterMuseum in #Belfast in #NorthernIreland was the Game of Thrones Tapestry. Northern Ireland has a strong history of linen production, and many of the scenes from the television series are filmed here.

Oryx My grandmother worked in Gilford linen Mill. It was still running in the 80s, I remember visiting her at work. It's pretty much a ruin now, but impressive building in its day. Hoping they fix it up sometime for a new purpose. Like the look of this exhibit a lot. 7y

Libby1 @kspenmoll and @LeahBergen - this is a new tapestry. As the most recent GOT series was running they were completing a new section following the story line each week! So clever and creative. 7y
