pickI won‘t give too much away since this is our #LMPBC #GroupM book, but I enjoyed this story of Bree finding her magic and figuring out who is really is and exploring her ancestral roots. The King Arthur storyline surprised me so much- I didn‘t think it was necessary but I guess there‘s something there about the Western cannon, colonialism and racism. Will def pick up book 2 after that crazy ending! ⭐️⭐️⭐️ 1/2

I'm at the halfway mark through Legendborn, and it's a great book so far. The pacing is consistent(thank goodness), the characters are well written, and I think there may be some romance blossoming in the chapters to come! I'm having a great time :)

so-soI don‘t want to give much away since this is our #LMPBC #GroupM pick, but it was not what I expected. I think I expected a more modern retelling and it read more like actual mythology.
