ImperfectCJ @Larkken They're pretty skilled at that, aren't they? There are actually more of those than I realized in this bracket because there are a couple I thought I'd read just because I've been seeing the list for so long 2w
ImperfectCJ @Bookwormjillk Tournament of Books has become the primary list I focus on each year, so that ends up being how I feel about many other lists (Booker, Women's Prize, National Book Award). I don't have fomo in many areas of life, but I definitely have it in reading, as evidenced by my TBR 2w

ImperfectCJ @Bookwormjillk Ooh...you're more skilled than I am, I suspect. I have never been able to guess what's going to be on next year's list. New books are rarely even on my radar until they show up on some list or another. 2w
Larkken @Bookwormjillk wow! I‘m with @ImperfectCJ I‘m lucky if I‘ve read one or two books on the longlist when it comes out, but I do enjoy picking random books off it even after the shortlist! I‘ve found some wonderful new authors to obsess over by doing that 2w
